How do I change the currency?
You've signed up to The Club and have started diving into all these dreamy Flights! But let’s talk about something that sometimes throws our members for a loop: the currency of the Flights.
The currency of the Flights you see in your Members Lounge and email aren't necessarily based on where you’re physically located, it’s tied to the departure airports you’ve assigned.
For Takeoff members
If you assign airports in the United Kingdom, you’ll see prices in GBP (£). On the other hand, if you’ve chosen airports in the U.S., prices will be in USD ($). This ensures that the Flights you see match the region of the airports you’re flying from.
For Standby members
We share Flights from the region of your Home Airport as well as a nearby region. E.g. With a US Home Airport, you'd see departures from Canada and vice versa because geographically it's possible to hop the border to pick up a flight. With a UK Home Airport (£), we show Flights from Europe (€) and vice versa.
We do this on the basis of great flights, where it's possible to take a short hop on a train or a cheap connecting flight to take advantage of the Flight.
If you’re seeing a currency that feels out of place, it’s likely because you’ve selected airports outside your home region. Don’t worry, this is an easy fix! Head over to our guide on Setting Long- and Short-Haul Preferences.
If you encounter any issues with your account or feel that you are not receiving all the Flights, please message the Member Experience team at support@jacksflightclub.com. We will be more than happy to get things sorted!
