Filtering Flight Tips

🎉It’s finally here!!! 🎉

JFC-ers have been asking about a filtering option in the members lounge for a long time and we’re proud to say we’ve finally delivered (we’re sorry it took so long!). The filter does differ for both Free and Premium members, so here’s a walk through on how it works.

Once logged into your Lounge, you’ll notice a “Filters” option under the "Flights" tab, this is where the magic begins:

For Premium Members:

After clicking on “Filters”, you’ll notice 8 options to toggle through. These are:

1. Flight Types:

There are 3 flight types that our tips are categorized under:

• Guides: These are expertly vetted for price, bookability and come with baked-in travel inspiration. 
• Getaways: These are last minute, low cost, limited availability, domestic or short haul trips that make budget-friendly travel effortless. 
• Roundups: These bring together multiple travel options in one place.

2. Flight Status:

Here we have 2 option to choose from:

• Live Alerts only- These are alerts that are available and bookable at the price range we’ve shared.
• All Alerts- This includes both live and archived alerts.

3. Departure Airports: If you’ve already set your departure airports in the Flight Settings, these will be auto-selected, however, you can select or deselect as many airports you’d like to see alerts from.
4. Destinations: Here you can select as many destinations you’d like to see flights to out of the 106 countries listed.
5. Tags: These are used to identify things that stand out about a flight tip. Examples: Free bag, Xmas, Business, Prem eco, Rare, Peak summer, Non-stop, etc.
6. Budget Options: Working with a specific budget? No worries! You can set your budget to only see the flights within your price range.
7. Airlines: If you’re after specific airlines, you can choose!
8. Travel Dates: While the travel dates aren’t ultra specific, you can select the month/s you’re looking to travel in.

For Free Members

There are 3 options to toggle through and these are:

1. Flight Types
2. Departure Regions: This option differs from the ‘Departure Airports’ Premium members see in their Lounge. The 4 "Departure Regions" are Canada, Europe, United Kingdom & Ireland and the United States of America. This can only be updated in the "Flight Settings" by changing your Home airport, which is the only airport selection free membership allows.
3. Destinations

After you've selected all the filtering options you need, simply click "Apply filters" to save and to remove the changes click on "Reset filters".
