Can I filter Flights?
The Jack's Community has long asked for a filtering option in the Members Lounge, and we’re proud to say we’ve finally delivered (we’re sorry it took so long!). The filter differs for both free and paid members, so here’s a walkthrough of how it works.
Once logged into your Lounge, you’ll notice a Filters option under the Flights tab. This is where the magic begins:
For First Class and Takeoff Members:
After clicking on Filters, you’ll see eight options to toggle through:
- Flight Types
- Guides: Expertly vetted for price and bookability, plus baked-in travel inspiration.
- Getaways: Last-minute, low-cost, limited-availability, domestic or short-haul trips that make budget-friendly travel effortless.
- Roundups: Multiple travel options in one place.
- Flight Status
- Live Alerts only: Flights that are available and bookable within the price range we’ve shared.
- All Alerts: Includes both live and archived Flights.
- Departure Airports: If you’ve already set your departure airports in the Flight Settings, these will be auto-selected, however, you can select or deselect as many airports you’d like.
- Destinations: Choose from over a hundred destinations around the world.
- Tags: Highlights special details about the flights, like Free bag, Xmas, First class, Business, Premium eco, Rare, Peak summer, Non-stop, etc.
- Budget Options: Working with a specific budget? No worries! You can filter by price range to stay within your budget.
- Airlines: If you’re after specific airlines, you can choose!
- Travel Dates: While the travel dates aren’t ultra-specific, you can select the month(s) you’re looking to travel in.
For Standby Members
Standby Members have 3 options to filter by:
- Flight Types
- Departure Regions: (Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom & Ireland, the United States). This can only be updated in Flight Settings by changing your Home airport or upgrading to First Class or Takeoff membership, which lets you search by departure airports.
- Destinations
After you've made your selections, simply click XX items found to view the Flights. To remove the changes, click on Reset filters. This will still keep your departure airports from Flight Settings selected.
